2. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via the Rousseau-home webshop. By placing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms.
3. Product information, prices and payment
We make every effort to present our products as accurately and clearly as possible. Minor differences in colour, shade or texture compared to the photos may occur due to lighting conditions, screen settings or natural variations in materials such as wood, and are part of the product’s unique character. All prices are stated in euros and include VAT. Any delivery costs are transparently displayed during the ordering process. Payment can be made easily and securely via Bancontact, iDEAL, credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay/Google Pay or bank transfer. Once payment has been received, the order is processed immediately. In the event of an obvious error in price or product information, we reserve the right to cancel the order, with the customer being informed in due time.
4. Conclusion of the agreement
The agreement becomes binding once the order is placed and an order confirmation is sent by e-mail. Customers are requested to carefully check their details, as any errors are their own responsibility and may result in additional costs.
5. Delivery
We deliver throughout Europe and ensure that products in stock are shipped as quickly as possible. Delivery is made to the front door or according to the selected delivery option, ensuring full clarity for the customer.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days after receipt. The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed. Once the return has been received in good condition, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days. Any reduction in value is only applied if the product has been used beyond what is necessary for inspection.
7. Returns
Returns must be reported in advance via our customer service. The product must be returned in its original and undamaged condition. Upon receipt of the returned goods, the purchase amount will be refunded using the same payment method. Any return costs are always communicated in advance.
8. Warranty
In accordance with statutory warranty provisions, the consumer is entitled to a 2-year warranty in the event of non-conformity. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, insufficient maintenance, normal wear and tear or damage caused by customer assembly. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.
9. After-sales service
Rousseau provides comprehensive and reliable after-sales support. Any questions or complaints are handled promptly and carefully, without unnecessary formalities, ensuring smooth and pleasant follow-up.
10. Liability
Our liability is in all cases limited to the value of the delivered product. Rousseau shall not be liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, loss of profit or immaterial damage. No liability is accepted for damage resulting from incorrect, careless or continued use of the product after damage or wear has become apparent.
